Is anyone else experiencing crashes of Explorer during login when using Stardock Virtual Desktops v2.0 (Build 72)? For me, it happens at login when the first windowed app, Microsoft ActiveSync, tries to launch. I can subsequently pull up Task Manager and run explorer.exe to try to get my taskbar and desktop back but that often results in a cycle of crashes. I will do some more testing to see if keeping my PDA undocked allows Explorer to remain running rather than crashing but wanted to get a post out there to see if anyone else has seen this behavior.

Jeff, if you're reading this, thanks for finally getting multi-monitor support into the code. I am utilizing this feature but don't see any connection to that as the window does not open on the second monitor. A side effect of the crashes, though, is that the virtual replicas do not update unless I right-click on an app window replica and select it.

Hi,

Same thing happens to me. am using WinXP pro and Stardock Virtual Desktops V2.00.008.

Its a shame as I find the virtaul Desktops useful. I have to turn it off to stop explorer crashing.

I was stuck with explorer crashing every bootup as well when i ran svd, which I use alot, but I found a workaround for it. By starting explorer as it's own process, the crashes no longer occur; follow the instructions on how to do this here, tip 101 : http://www.xptuneup.com/tip0125.htm
